Overall Long Term Magazine Goals - to strengthen our generations interest in reality, make it cool, bring about a shift in societies consciousness, open the eyes of the world to the illusion we live in.
Initial thoughts...
As of now it is nothing, which is a awesome place to start.
We each know our area of expertise.
Assignment: Create some form of content in some medium whenever the muse appears. (Insert your own passionate assignments here)
3 Requirements: Be Inspired when sitting to create, keep in mind it's created for the highest good of mankind, quality
Audience:16-34 year old truth seekers
Style: A mix between Maxim, Wall Street Journal, Powder, Discover, Popular Science, Esquire, Journal of Science etc.. (add favorite publication that's on point or in touch with the pulse of the times or speaks passion or is viewed as legitimate etc. here) Looking for cool, chic, cutting edge, mass appeal style but with enlightening, conscious, truth, eye opening content.
Sections: Science, Design, Art, Psychology, Poetry, Sociology, Cooking, Politics, Business, Travel, Experience, Music, Memoirs, Journal Entries etc..(add what ever your passion may be whose insight would bring a level of enlightenment to our general population etc. here)
Long Long Term -Before creating the hard copy launch we'd need ~6 month/issues?? of core content .
The main purpose of this exercise is freedom, freedom in the creation process, natural freedom in the growth of this publication...to create a completely organic magazine, in a timeless space, to see what can grow from the fertile ground of our generations community.
On a personal level i see this as a place to go to exercise our minds (and in the long term) have the opportunity to influence the world. Not by creating work through the lens of a job, but by creating out of love for the world.
